Live From Convention 2008!

Working hard to get this all set up. Crazy thing about DCON is that we have so much to do in the one day's time that we're there before everyone. The district board arrives on April 10th, just one day before everyone else. In that time, we have to get all the decorations up, set up all the registration materials, organize the tags for the name badges, and even wire up all the technology we need for the whole weekend. Still busy packing and getting this blog working correctly.
There probably won't be a comment system, sorry. Only so much time left and so many things still left to do. I'm still trying to find a way to video some parts of convention and put it up. Need to check people's schedules, though.

By the way, this is the overview of convention. Everyone will get a hard copy of it at convention. But just in case you're wondering, here it is.

Well, this is it. The morning before the District Board has to arrive. Got my suits packed up, my food in bags, all my hygiene stuff in another bag. I hope I don’t forget anything (as I usually do).
There’s so much to do today. Registration committee is sorting all the tags for you guys, tech committee is wiring the whole place up in just a few hour’s time, decorations is turning an empty room into a stage for the general session. Everyone’s on edge and no one can afford to make mistakes today.
Luckily, I’m packing lots and lots of energy drinks. Oh and remember to bring food to feed yourselves!
